Product scope

Docfinish generates estimates, job sheets, change requests and completion records from information you provide. Review the accuracy, scope, taxes, dates and suitability before sending. Generated documents do not verify identity, certify compliance or record receipt of money. Signature spaces are not an electronic signing service.

PDF toolkit

The PDF toolkit processes selected files inside your browser and does not upload them. It supports page operations, standard form filling, visible overlays and PNG/JPEG conversion. Original files are not overwritten. Page organisation and merging flatten form fields; interactive features and bookmarks may not transfer. Review every exported page. Overlays do not remove existing information and must not be used as redaction. Signature images do not provide identity verification or audit evidence. Files with digital-signature fields, XFA and password protection are not supported.

Free and Pro

The public beta includes all four job-document exports, PDF tools and job backups. Pro is planned at USD 19 as a one-time purchase for the current offline edition, licensed for use within your own business. The offline purchase includes no cloud storage, subscription or future major release. Cloud saving is an optional authenticated beta feature. This public beta has Pro features enabled. Checkout is not active and this site currently takes no payments.

Your data

Default editing and PDF generation happen in your browser. The optional Server download buttons send the current job to the server to produce a file attachment; that export action does not save the job. Clicking Save current job to cloud uploads that job to the existing Cloudflare-backed hosting storage, associated with your signed-in account. Each cloud read and write requires authentication; other visitors cannot list your jobs. Cloud jobs persist until removed through support or a future deletion feature. Avoid storing highly sensitive information in this preview. The Save job action writes to this browser's local storage. Exported PDFs, ZIPs and JSON backups contain your job information. Keep them secure. Clearing browser data can delete saved jobs. We cannot recover them.

The hosting provider receives ordinary web requests, which may include IP address and browser information. This app uses no advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Its libraries are served from the same site. Support emails are processed by the support mailbox provider. A future Stripe checkout will process payment details under Stripe's policies.

Document studio beta

The studio stores proposals, template content, versions, folders, participant email addresses, comments, typed signatures, explicit consent and server timestamps in the hosted database. New documents are private to their creator. Adding named editors, viewers, approvers or signers grants those accounts access. Anyone with access can download the current document and participant activity. Only owners and editors see previous draft versions. You share links yourself; no automatic email is sent.

Signing requires a ChatGPT account whose email matches the named recipient. The system records a typed name and consent against a content fingerprint. It does not provide external identity checks, qualified electronic signatures, an independent timestamp service or an independently certified audit trail. Required suitability depends on your document and circumstances. Review documents before relying on them.

Draft content can be edited; submitted content is locked. An owner can void an open request. Versions and activity remain stored. Export records you need to retain and contact support to request account-data deletion. No retention period, service-level guarantee or independent security certification is promised for the beta. Do not use the beta for highly sensitive documents. Limits: 100 owned documents/templates, 50 price items, 30 saved draft versions, 10 people per role, 100 shared comments and 500 recorded events per document.

Subscription integration is inactive. Connecting Stripe to this assistant is separate from configuring secure runtime credentials on the website. No purchase is required to use the current beta.
